Is window art permanent?

Nope! The best part about it is that it can be easily removed and changed with the seasons.

What are you using to paint the design on to the window?

I use paint. Just ordinary acrylic paint and acrylic paint pens e.g. posca pens.

Is the paint easy to remove?

Yes! To remove just soak the painted areas with warm, soapy water and wipe away. For stubborn areas you may need to use a window scraper. Then just spray with glass cleaner and wipe until it’s sparkling. I do offer window art removal businesses that book me for two (or more!) consecutive window art designs or for an additional fee.

Do you paint on the outside or the inside?

I can do both! I recommend inside for high traffic areas, longevity and protection for the weather. If the weather is not a concern, it’s a shorter-term seasonal design and you want colours at their boldest outside would be fine. We can discuss what works best for you!

How long will it last?

Several weeks to months, so seasonal window art will likely last the season but this is dependent on many factors such as the weather.

What designs can you do?

Almost anything! Seasonal designs for Christmas, Halloween, Valentines day, Easter and summer time are popular. Many shops include window art as part of their marketing campaign for a specific promotions or to celebrate openings or anniversaries. Similarly if you just want a beautiful bold design to draw customers in I can design for that too.

How much will it cost?

Price is dependent on size, complexity, and location, but I offer quotes for every project. My prices start from £50 for smaller & less complex designs. Large windows or full shopfront murals are priced individually but start from £150.
